Bareilly: The 11th board meeting of Bareilly City Transport Services Ltd was held at the Commissioner’s office auditorium under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Shambhu Kumar.
During the meeting, the Commissioner directed the operator to take immediate steps to bring all off-road buses back into service at the earliest. He also instructed officials to ensure 100 per cent operation of all 25 e-buses to improve public transport services in the city.
The Commissioner reviewed the load factor of the city bus service and directed officials to take corrective measures to improve passenger utilisation. He also called for action to restrict the operation of unauthorised e-rickshaws and auto-rickshaws within the municipal limits.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Magistrate (City) Avinash Tripathi, Regional Transport Officer (Enforcement) Pranav Jha, Bareilly City Transport Services Managing Director Mohammad Azeem and Company Secretary Dileep Dixit.
